The successful restaurant team of Gianpiero and Rebekka Battista purchased The Left Bank Cafe - Wine & Food Bar in September 1998. Gianpiero charms the hearts of customers and encourages new students by teaching Hospitality at the local University as well as serving as Councillor on the Local Council. This marries well with Rebekka, his wife, who is the chef and manages the kitchen team as well runs Our Kids, a local charity which raises money to purchase vital medical equipment for the local hospitals to help keep our children local when needing medical care.
